What to do on the Strip at a glance

The list is a selection, not a ranking. Entries 1 to 4 are free sights on the boulevard. Entries 5 to 8 are views and rides, from the Sphere to a night helicopter flight. Entries 9 to 12 are the four Cirque shows. Entries 13 and 14 are a gondola and an aquarium, and entry 15 is a detour to Downtown.

Prices are for adults in 2026 and can change. Showtimes follow a weekly pattern with a few dark days, so check the date you want before you plan around it. Distances on the Strip are bigger than they look, and the getting around page explains the Monorail and the bus.

Things to do on the Strip: frequently asked questions

What are the best free things to do on the Strip?

The Bellagio fountains, the Conservatory, the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat and the Welcome sign are free. On the free things page you find the times and the limits.

How many days do I need for these 15 ideas?

Most are short stops of one to two hours. The four shows each take 90 minutes plus the walk to the theater. Two evenings and one full day cover a good part of the list, and the Strip is easier in small sections than in one walk.

Is the Mirage volcano still running?

No. The Mirage closed in July 2024, and the volcano is not part of today's free shows. A Hard Rock resort is being built on the site.

Is Fremont Street on the Strip?

No. It is in Downtown, to the north. The Deuce bus connects Downtown with the Strip, and the Monorail does not go there. See Fremont Street.

Can children join these activities?

It depends on the activity. Mystère is open to all ages, KÀ admits children from 3 and O from 5. Michael Jackson ONE does not admit children under 5. The Sphere requires a ticket for every age, with age limits depending on the event.

Do I need to book ahead?

For shows, the Sphere, the gondola and the aquarium, booking ahead is wise, and the Venetian sells online tickets up to 60 days ahead. The free sights need no booking.
