The Sphere at a glance

The Sphere stands at 255 Sands Avenue and can be reached over a bridge from the Venetian. Inside, it shows films and concerts, and the program changes. For 2026, The Wizard of Oz at Sphere is on sale, with several showings a day. Concerts, films and premium offers are separate products with their own prices.

The Sphere is a paid indoor experience, not a free walk-in. The outside of the building, called the Exosphere, can be seen from public areas without a ticket. This guide keeps the two apart, because many visitors expect to go inside for free. Prices depend on the date, the event and the seat category, so compare the final price including fees at checkout.

What is on, and what the inside is like

The program changes, and so do the effects.

The Wizard of Oz at Sphere is a film experience that has been on sale for 2026 with several showings a day. Check the schedule for your date, because the program can change and a sale period is not a promise for every day.

Depending on the event, you can expect vibrating seats, flashes and light effects, loud sound, a feeling of motion and atmospheric effects in the room. It is not a quiet cinema. If you are sensitive to noise, light or motion, or if you travel with small children, look at the event description before you buy.

Rideshare

The rideshare zone is at the corner of Manhattan Street and Westchester Drive. Use this point instead of waiting at the boulevard.

On foot from the Strip

Walkways and bridges add distance, and summer heat adds effort. See the getting around page for the Monorail and the bus.

Choosing a seat

There is no single best row.

No seat is best for every event. A good seat for a film can be a poor one for a concert, and views and the strength of the effects depend on the ticket category. Read the description of the seat category for your event, and look for notes about obstructed views or overhangs.

If you want the strongest physical effects, ask what the seat category offers. If you want a calmer experience, read the event description and the seat notes first. In both cases, do not assume every seat has a free view, and compare the price including fees.

Before you go

A short checklist for the day.

Check the ticket

Open the mobile ticket before you leave the hotel. Look at the event, the entrance and the start time.

Pack light

Bring only a small bag, a phone and a card, because the venue is cashless and large bags are turned away.

Plan the exit

You cannot leave and come back, so eat and use the restroom before you go in. Book your ride home or check the bus before the event ends.
